Welcome to the Home Page of the Craven Vale Community Association, Brighton!
Welcome to cravenvale.org.uk this is the website for all who live in Craven Vale and Baker's Bottom and the surrounding areas in Brighton, East Sussex and is administered by the Craven Vale Community Association. The Association represents all residents of those two areas plus The Causeway, Monument View, Olivier Close, Evelyn Terrace, Cuthbert Road, Dawson Terrace and the top half of Sutherland Road. Our book 'Pride of our Valley' covers all parts of 'The Valley' shown on the map below.

The Craven Vale Community Association is recognised by Brighton and Hove City Council as representing all residents of the area, and it also acts as a Tenants Association representing council tenants and leaseholders. We also liaise with the Council and the police as a Local Action Team.
Currently because of the Covid19 pandemic the Community Centre is closed except for the weekly Foodbank on a Friday. If you live in the Craven Vale or Pankhurst Estate areas and feel you could benefit from the foodbank please call 07423 838429
The Association works closely with the Queen's Park/Pankhurst Avenue Community Association and produces the QPCV Newsletter three times a year, which is distributed to all residents. It is also closely linked to the Friends of Craven Wood, which lies just to the east of Craven Road.
